RCMC Registration

A Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) is issued by an Export Promotion Council, Commodity Board, or authority, certifying that an exporter is registered with it.

It is required to avail benefits and concessions under the Foreign Trade Policy and to take part in council schemes. An exporter chooses the council relevant to its product line.

   Identify the relevant council

   Choose the Export Promotion Council or Commodity Board for your product.

   Apply

   File the application (often via the DGFT common digital platform) with the IEC and documents.

   Receive the RCMC

   The council issues the RCMC; renew it as its rules require.
