Representation before the ROC

When a company defaults on filings or other Companies Act requirements, the Registrar of Companies can issue notices and initiate action. Most such defaults can be regularised — by completing the filings, compounding the offence, or seeking condonation of delay.

The firm represents you before the ROC and, where required, the Regional Director, to clean up the record and close the exposure.

• What is compounding of an offence?

  A way to settle certain Companies Act defaults by paying a compounding fee rather than facing prosecution. We assess eligibility and prepare the application.

• Can a struck-off company be revived?

  Yes, in appropriate cases, by application to the NCLT. We advise on revival and handle the related ROC steps.
