Representation before the ROC
Handling Registrar of Companies notices, compounding, and condonation of delay.
ROC representation
When a company defaults on filings or other Companies Act requirements, the Registrar of Companies can issue notices and initiate action. Most such defaults can be regularised — by completing the filings, compounding the offence, or seeking condonation of delay.
The firm represents you before the ROC and, where required, the Regional Director, to clean up the record and close the exposure.
What we handle

- Replies to ROC notices and show-cause notices
- Compounding of offences under Section 441
- Condonation of delay applications (Section 460 / 87 and others)
- Regularising overdue filings and striking-off or revival matters
- Representation before the ROC and Regional Director

Frequently asked questions
What is compounding of an offence?
A way to settle certain Companies Act defaults by paying a compounding fee rather than facing prosecution. We assess eligibility and prepare the application.
Can a struck-off company be revived?
Yes, in appropriate cases, by application to the NCLT. We advise on revival and handle the related ROC steps.
How long does it take?
Regularising filings is prompt; compounding and condonation follow the ROC's and Regional Director's process timelines.
